What do you use for Tier 2 links?

Here is my take. I've asked this same question, and always got the same dumb answers. The truth is you want the same thing on T2 and T3 that you want on T1, link diversity and anchor diversity. You will just need a CHEAPER source for the links on T2 in order to keep costs down. Each T1 needs its own diverse link profile in order to be healthy. Just because its a "T1" doesn't mean it has a Spam Me sign on its back. I thought about GSA blasting T2, but ultimately decided against it. Maybe I'm just not as good at GSA as some of you, but to me it wasn't worth the risk.

Some of the "diversity" platforms are unrealistic though, IMO... For example, if we take any medium sized website and check their backlinks, how many would actually have a slideshare or docsharing link which wasn't created for SEO purposes? I have never ever ever seen a slideshow or doc share link while checking my competitor's backlinks. But forum links (in threads not profiles), Web 2.0 links and links from regular www. sites are very common. Even profile links I've never seen one of those built naturally to an inner page, ever.

If you check a real website's backlinks what you're going to see is mostly HTML sites, then Web 2.0s like Blogspot (some of those have their own domains too) and finally a bunch of forum threads.

So I think it makes sense to have more Web 2.0 links than slideshare links, for example...

GSA or low quality PBN posts do the job for me.
