What do you think About Blogging in 2024 ?

What am I talking about?

Well, when OpenAI's ChatGPT came up with its search result, how many links did you see?

That's right!

None.

It just gives you "the answer."

If you convince enough online searchers to believe that this is the way to go when it comes to search results, what do you think will happen?

Consumer expectations will change.

They're going to basically put a lot of pressure on Google to just give them the answer.

So online publishers would be out of a job because they no longer have a chance to get traffic from a top 5 listing on Google.

Forget about it!

Google would be spoon feeding the "answer" to the searcher.

Sure, the searcher can expand by clicking on a button and seeing the links.

But they're not gonna do that.

People are busy.

People have better things to do.

Do you see how devastating this is?

Do you see how apocalyptic this is?

This is the real challenge to blogging or any other kind of online publishing in 2024 and beyond.

We have to be ready.

What is your strategy for a post-search future?

I wish I had a good answer.

Well, there are things that Google SGE can't display. One example would be SEO tools (in your scenario this would be redundant, but there are other tools too), Google would never build their own ahrefs tool. Maybe AI will take over the internet, but there will always be a need for search engines, even if it's only 20% of the content that exists today. Let's just hope more than 80% of SEOs quit the business.

Also, Google won't build their own eCommerce system with warehouses world wide and all products from a to z, these results will still have to be pulled from real businesses. I think eCommerce will get even bigger in the coming years, unless SheIn, temu and the likes start with 1 day shipping world wide. Even Amazon has lots of problems, they are simply too big.

It'll be more work to rank because you need to build a BRAND around your offering, but on the flip side if you do get there you will have a more sustainable moat. Be prepared to put in the hard yards and not just pump out "1000 words on keyword xyz" straight from GPT.
 
I think blogging in 2024 will be an even more popular and powerful way to communicate, share ideas, and promote businesses. With the continued advances in technology, blogging will be more accessible and easier to use than ever before.
 
Again rules for the users, make the btter content which serves users requirements,

I own 10 blogs so far; half are autoblogs and hybrids. Four perform well while others are okay. All are 6 months old, and content and link building are automated with open API + GSA SER + autoblogging, AI, or SEO writing. I guess it's all about niches. My wife has a serious health remedies website (she's a naturopathic doctor). She is a native English writer, unlike me, LOL, but still struggles after a year. The same goes for YouTube, but her TikTok works. I guess this is the AUTOMATION ERA.

Google is trying to set the competition high where we really have to fight for ranking...
 
I think blogging will still be and it will be still possible to have good income , but its all depend on niche , it will be one most important thing ! I like Lifestyle niche , a lot people in this niche and its not so really har to work on it . lifestylehubz . c o m - great example .
