Yep. Either write a new post with a contextual link to the post you want to boost, or go back to old posts and add contextual links to the post you want to boost. Google will eventually crawl and pick them up.
"Site structure" often does more harm than good. WordPress out of the box basically turns your site into one giant overoptimization penalty with all those widgets/menus repeating exact anchor text across every page of your site. I noticed the pages that weren't in the menus did better than the pages that were, so ripped them all out, and had way better results. This strikes me as really stupid on Google's part, like they're trying to dissuade good usability, but practical experience confirmed it. The sites I've seen rank best rarely had a sensible structure, but they did have contextual links within relevant posts.
Have a couple main category pages in the menu, and in each main category page link to the relevant pages. After that, use contextual links within posts.
