    Well,
I'm not internet marketer yet, but I was thinking what internet marketer does all day long.

Could you post me your ordinary day?

    Peace,
    Vasary

I come to BHW and get taken off on a new tangent and forget to do all the tasks I should be doing :)

Thanks to BHW I now have tried almost every method save for Porn (don't want to mix work with play!)

Take dog for a walk, come back make some money, go to town and buy donuts, take dog out, eat dinner, back to make some more money, watch tv or go out or go boating, check stuff before bed. Wake up and check earnings. Rinse and repeat.

Sure man. Here's what it's been this past couple of weeks, and probably going to be for the next few weeks:

I wake up at 5:15am. Get my wife's breakfast prepared and give the dog a belly rub, then wake the wife up. Get a few chores done around the house while I check my business email on my iPhone. 6:00am I walk the dog for 20-30 minutes to get him some exercise as the sun starts to slowly creep up over the horizon.

Then I shower and get ready for my day because I have a day job, too, motherfucker. I could go full-time IM, but I have no interest in that. See why shortly.

7:15am we both leave. My commute lately takes about 12 to 15 minutes. I use this time to jam out on my car's extremely nice sound system, using my steering wheel as a drum set and looking like a complete moron. Current playlist:

Blink-182 - Bored to Death, Bastille - Good Grief, 30 Seconds To Mars - The Race, The Killers - Runaways

This usually gets me to the parking garage by the last bars of Runaways. I'll switch up the songs Monday.

I head in and set my laptop up. I've got a dual-screen Windows desktop I use to run Tableau and Oracle and such, and a Mac Mini desktop for things such as OmniGraffle and OmniFocus, but I honestly spend 75% of the time here at the office on the same computer that I use for IM.

I check work email and chat with coworkers until a few more people arrive, and at 8:00am we head to the local coffee shop 1/3 mile from the office.

8:45am is a standup meeting with one of the department's teams. 10:00am is another. Half the time I have another meeting squeezed in there. Between 10:30am and 11:30am I get some development and organizational work done.

11:30am I drive back home to play with the dog. Less traffic means it takes about ten minutes. I listen to pieces of podcasts for the remainder of my traveling time.

I eat some lunch and play with the dog (he weighs five pounds, btw). Then I crank through about an hour of IM client work. My personal projects have taken a backburner for the time being, as I'm 100% booked up with client work, and guaranteed cash sure beats maybe-in-the-future cash.

1:00pm I head back to the office. Some people hate the idea of spending almost an hour in a car every day, but I like it. I enjoy my car, and it drives like a go-kart so every stoplight is a goddamn drag race, thank you very much.

From 1:15pm to 4:30pm it's a mixture of various office-related things, report development and QA work, and intermittent client work when applicable. Honestly half my day is spent communicating with co-workers, all of whom I enjoy. I also get the job of planning team outings, but we are in between outings now.

4:30pm I bail to beat traffic and head home. When I get home, I play with the dog some and make dinner, because I'm great at everything. The wife gets home at around 5:30pm, and we eat while watching Parks and Recreation and working on a puzzle together. 6:30pm we settle down, she practices surgery stuff while I do another hour or so of client work, then we relax and watch a movie together or play some games.

10:00pm is bedtime. Rinse and repeat.

The weekends are a whole different story. We try to have an adventure each weekend day. More on that when that threat is applicable.

Oh wow. Didn't know that. Thanks!

You know, if you have 9-5 job, you "work" 8 hours a day (I guess you work half of that but you should work 8 hours). And me, personally, can't imagine working in IM for 8 hours a day. I just don't know what would I do. If you are starting IM, I really don't know what to do for 8 hours a day.

We listen to clients complain about why they have to pay more than $100/month and why they aren't rank 1 after a week.

Haha trust me, if that was the case, I wouldn't be dealing with a day job in the first place!
