this is the biggest thing people holding BTC should remember, IMO. if you think 1 BTC is expensive now, imagine when it becomes more rare

If you think that you make money by HODL then you are very wrong. You will not make money if you think you will sell it later.
Better to take a coin and trade it on binance, bybit etc because you have 50-50 chances to go up or down... (there is no green spot as it is in roulette and lose everything, you have more control on your trading positions).

I'd keep Bitcoin, Ethereum, Lido ETH (good APYs); Arbitrum ($ARB) nice L2 could be the winner of all. Maybe some CRO long term. XMR and ZCash (ZEC) & Dash. These often have different movements and different demand, the last 3 mentioned being good for swing trades. And OFC some random low cap shitcoins.

Pepe’s coin has grown a lot now, it was possible to buy it earlier, now it’s better to wait for the bitcoin halving, after which interesting projects and coins will be listed

OK so I will share my super easy, super effective method of growing your portfolio.
Step 1: Get eToro or Binance or your prefered trading app. [go with whichever one you are happy with, some have more fee's than others and differences in spread amounts - it's upto you to choose. - Personally I use eToro despite the high spreads, they send me notfication which I use all the time so I like using them.]
Step 2: WATCH THE CRYPTO MARKETS FOR A MONTH OR TWO - you will notice what I noticed: one week you will get a bunch of notifications saying that a bunch of the crypto's are up by 5-25%..... a week or two later you will notice that you'll be notified of those same coins falling 5-25%.
Step 3: REALISE THAT THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS - and buy accordingly. Buy just after the crash and wait until you get the notification saying that it's up 10% or whatever then sell.
Step 4: WAIT and then rinse and repeat. You are waiting for that message that says "XXX altcoin just plummeted 12%" or something similar - you then buy it while it's cheap and wait a week for the next notification: "XXX just soarded 7.2%" or something silimar - you then sell!
Super easy way to grow your portfolio.
I am actively using this method this year - patiently waiting for Bitcoin to BOTTOM OUT AND THEN SKY ROCKET APPROX July/Auguest this year.

As it look Bitcoin and Ethereum which are here since inception are the best to invest, at least for me. They are stabke and I am pretty sure they will be last one that will disappear from the market.
All other crpyrocurrencies are hard to pick and you never know which one will disappear.
