What can you do with an Ipad one, two, or third gen?

I was given these as both christmas and birthday present from someone but they are really slow and most apps do not support them at firmware level now it appears, even ios...

So I was wondering what I can do with them to make them useful:

I can either hold, store away and hope they pick up a bit of antique value .... but one if them has happy birthday “x” engraving on them, and there a slight crack on screen on an other. Only third gen is immaculate

Or

If there is an effective jailbreak solution that will inject new life and functionality in to them then I suppose that would be a viable solution.
But I was just wondering if there are any effective jailbreak client and OS I can use these days that’ll do the job?

Any other good ideas would be appreciated

I still have my 1st gen with a broken screen. IOS 5.11.
Nothing except Safari and Youtube is functional.
 
Do you have any of the following?:

  • A Special Someone
  • A Pet
  • A kid
  • A relative
  • An Annoying Neighbor
If you happen to have at least one out of any of these options - you can Slap them with the iPads.

You can forward them to someone in need. There are people who just can’t afford any of those. Cheers
 
well, an Ipad 2nd and up can run Netflix. I use it as a Netflix machine. The screen is relatively big, and you get great battery life (better than watching on phone).

yes its quite slow, but once you got a movie started it won't have any performance issues. Also, it can run RTC Classic, which is the only game you ever need, so there's that.
 
you can buy brazzers premium version and watch hd videos..
 
So, I have an old android phone 5 years old. I can't use it anymore as it doesn't support 4G VoltE.
So now I am using it as a wifi adapter for my Desktop PC.
Surprisingly it has better wifi reception than my USB wifi adapter.

Similarly I have an Old Samsung Galaxy TAB and it also supports 3G same problem doesn't support.
So now I am using it to cast to an old TV.

Got an OLD Gigabyte H61M USB and LAN Port don't work.
2X HDD 160GB, SMPS and small monitor.
I am planning to get an i3 3240 used processor and RAM to setup an extra PC to Run Multiblogger.

You can think of may ways how to use it, specially electronics products.

While writing this I found that an Ipad can also be used as a secondary monitor.
Just google it. Hope that helps.
 
You should return them to a store that has an e-waste recycling policy.
The less waste sitting about when it could be resused the better.
