I have been given access to the analytics for a community college analytics, and a publicly traded companies analytics. So what now? Are there going to be some golden nuggets that I can use? What ideas can yall come up with ?

If someone has given you access to their analytics and you have no idea what to do with it...congrats...because you clearly bamboozled somebody.

Well, what kind of analytic data is it? Google Analytics?

Steal all their keywords.

You can use these analytics to cook your lunch, mine make a mean burger :D

lol shit, even my most trusted client relationships take reasurance when sharing this data.

I sugest you sell then some google ranking cream imediatly.

Jokes apart, basically you use the data to analyze the visitor trending in your site. Analyze their demographics, loyalty, browser information, bounce rate, trending etc. You set goals and check if your site achieves the goal. If not, it needs to be worked on more and more. That's just the basic. You can do much more advanced stuffs than that...

Other than that? I think it's bullshit :P

"publicly traded companies analytics"? well... to point out the obvious... you can find out whether metrics (e.g., goal/conversion volume) in the analytics data correlates to the company's the earnings.. if there is strong correlation there, being able to predict the earnings reports (and hence, stock) should certainly be worth something ;)
