I have a good method for Facebook ads to AdSense.
You can check the Facebook Ads Library and type "watch Asian video" for examples,
or you can also do network popunders to affiliate marketplaces like Amazon affiliates.

I don't understand why they make fun of such a serious issue.
It's not really a lot of money, but test your traffic by giving small ads in CPA and discover new ways that can help you.

Focus on what you do best. First start learnin how CPA works, what do you want to promote & if you're knowledgable enough to start making ads for a specific social network then focus on that. Start by testing, maybe automate social media account creation/posting with your programming skills. Innovate, think out of the box.

You can blow through those $500 very quickly with advertising, especially if you're new at it. You should focus on learning something that interests you and then use the money to invest in something related to that interest.

If you have $500, and this is your first experience in online marketing, you're more than likely to lose it. Even if you promote the best performing offer with a unanimously adored ad network.

Both advertising and CPA require a higher budget since it involves testing and scaling. Testing alone could end up eating more than a grand in most cases. But if you are lucky, the first product you promote might hit. Although I wouldn't wager all my savings on luck alone.
Try going with freelancing or something if you have the skills. If not, you can invest that 500 bucks in building one

you said ads though and if you are into non web related advertisement gigs LMK, good stuff [billboards, vehicles/ trucks etc] but the money you talking is pretty much scrap - only way to get it somewhere would be to use this to compound your weekly returns for an year or so to the point that it nets you a something decent on a monthly basis.
