Ignore the others. $500 likely won't get you to a place where you can start earning big bucks right away. It's totally possible but depends on a lot of other factors. And since you're new my advice would be to use the funds to test out different things with the goal of learning first. In the meantime focus on your skills and try to get more capital so that you can invest more in case you find something that works for you.
Examples:
1. Start a website about something you have an interest in and see if you can make it grow.
2. Start a Youtube channel and try to grow it to monetization or beyond
3. Buy a few subscriptions on some AI sites to help jumpstart a lot of things like voiceover, music, images, videos, etc.
4. Offer some services you're skilled at and use the $500 to advertise them & get more paying customers.

i mean, i'm into cars, so i would buy tools so i can repair cars and make money from that. in your case, you are into programming, buy tools related to that. It's not a ''passive'' income since 500$ not really that much for this type of investment, but it will eventually get you there.
