I really don't intend to sound flash or dickish here, but in the Western World 11,000 Euro is not a significant amount of money, Many, many people in the UK for example have in excess of this in savings, even fairly young (mid-late 20's) - from their day jobs, it's just over £9k...

I'd think so. Some users here would probably kill for that kinda money. 11k is probably enough to start your journey into becoming a millionaire.
Me personally, I'd invest in already working business models and just go and scale on levels beyond comprehension. There are a lot of open doors with 11k.

Depending on where you live, build a local service in your country and start selling, does not need to be an advanced service, just a service that takes very little time to maintain so you can focus on the sales part 95%.
Then get a list of newly started companies and sell hard.

Posts like this “What can I do with €2,000?” or “If I have €10,000” - are being posted almost daily now.
I’d suggest checking out similar threads before creating a new one.
There’s already a lot of valuable advice shared in those, and you might find some great insights you’d miss otherwise.
If you’re genuinely interested, take some time to dig deeper into those existing discussions - you’ll find good stuff there!
It would be great if you can just start a digital marketing firm.
Or just scale up what you did to gather the money in the first place.

Relax. There's many reasons he just "showed up" with 11k.
Could be inheritance, could be savings from working 9 to 5, could be lottery. What's with the dismissal?
Plus as someone said above in EUR countries 11k is not a fortune.

In the EU / US 11K is definitely not considered ‘alot’ for savings.

5K could also be enough to start that journey, any amount can be.
