What black hat methods can we all agree upon doesn't work?

Haha - me too!

In fact I take inspiration from ridiculous ideas - I've even started threads about a few of them:

What if someone said you could make money by selling your own shit? Can't be done?

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...now-you-can-literally-sell-your-own-shit.html

Or that you could charge $40 to sharpen someone's pencil? Stupid idea?

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...ultimate-method-2-sharpen-pencils-40-pop.html

There are people making money by charging to send proper bullshit to people in the mail - and glitter - and cocks.

I read just this morning about someone who started a similar site to ship a potato to someone in the mail

They don't even use an envelope! They just stick the stamps on the spud. For $10 a time.

Don't believe me?

http://www.mailaspud.com/

Like I said - don't listen to the people who say something doesn't or won't work.

So we should ignore things like:
Creating 100 wordpress with autospinned content to promote clickbank products to make $100 within 3 months will not work.
Spamming with exact anchor doesn't work.
Using 1 proxy to create 500 gmail accounts in 1 day that will not get banned doesn't work.

All this because it might work if you get lucky.
I don't believe in luck. I believe in proper research and knowing what you get into before you start.

I would say any kind of spamming with exact anchor doesn't work. That is something I'm pretty sure of.

I can tell you are writing this based on what you've read, not from experience, otherwise you would know that this is not true.

Some of those conclusions are not correct.

Autospin content (complete unreadable but super unique) combined with cloaking can easily make money on clickbank.
Spamming with exact match anchor text works great on parasite pages.

By drawing conclusions based on failures of others, you will cut yourself off from finding a lot of profitable tactics.

For example, in my case I probably would have never even tried SAPE if I listened to all the people on the forum saying SAPE didn't work, or that it was dead (around the time when Matt started targeting sape hard - I don't use it anymore so I can't speak on its effectiveness).

are you using 1 method 500 times or trying 500 different way?
I bought handwritten reviews and posted 1 unique on each video. I also tried sending 1 simulated click every day to each youtube video. Just to keep me under the radar.

I think you're missing the point still.

People do share their failures. Case study and journey threads (the good ones) will have people giving results of their experimentation. Some things work and some things don't. But those same threads (the good ones) will often culminate in success.

You provided a perfect example just now. You said you created a load of youtube accounts with no backlinks and it didn't work. But then BTB said he did the same thing - and it did work.

So who is it better to listen to? The person who says you can't make money making youtube accounts with no backlinks?

I'm not saying that to have a go at you - it's just that most of the time when someone says something doesn't work, that's not the case.

They just gave up, or stopped trying, or stopped believing in themselves, or couldn't be bothered, or turned the XBox on, or went to the pub.

And typically, what those people then do, rather than admit the failure was down to them - is try to convince other people the method, or idea, or niche or business was the problem.

My point is that they are not the people you want to listen to or learn from.

That is one perspective to see things.
There is another.
I see this forum overfilled with peoples success stories and it gives it some kind of pretty shine to it like a diamond ring that everyone is happy and after a while most people succeed. The truth is that this is as far as you can come from the truth. People here are stuck in some kind of eternal loop with the message to never give up and they fail and try something different and fail. I think most people knows what I'm talking about.

The perfect example with youtube accounts was first meant to show that it wasn't hard to post a failure. Nothing to be ashamed of. By sharing each others experience with it we can find out the things to stay away of. I think many people are sick of hearing all millions of suggestions to try and they get stuck trying them all just because people are to lazy or don't dare to share their failures.
The journey threads you're talking about. How many of them ends with a conclusion of what doesn't work. I would be surprised if you could point me to one. These journey threads just gets silent and we can only conclude the person has stopped posting. It is only the person that made the journey that can best present the failure and what he/she thinks didn't work.
The failures are just gold nuggets of information and suddenly people can make a priority list of what to try first. That is impossible to do with just success stories. I can't believe how people can find it so useful without a contrast to peoples fails.

i brought the packages from bhw, advertised hand written or manual written article. after completed the work and check the quality, its full of craps, the article are spinned using the software. my ranking disappeared from serp
I learned that it is best to do it yourself. There is so much BS crap you can buy. Fiverr is the worst of them regarding black hat but I was very happy with most of the video reviews gigs I ordered.
Think of the spun text as this is the text you want to read to make you buy something. It is 99% made for the people and 1% made for the search engines.

I would say any kind of spamming with exact anchor doesn't work. That is something I'm pretty sure of.

How many times and from how many people do you need to hear the same thing?

You keep saying you want to hear from people about things that don't work.

Numerous people keep repeating to you - don't listen to the losers and failures.

You keep ignoring that advice.

And then you make this statement. And you are sure of the validity of this statement. And why are you sure of it? Because you listened to someone who couldn't make it work.

OK, do it your way.

Spend your time listening to and learning from the people who can't do things. And ignore the people who can do things.

Be sure to check in occasionally and let us know how that works out for you.

Auto spun content that was KW rich, generic videos, long tailed titles... about 2 hours of time all together. I don't find that interesting work at all and would never pursue it but you can make money there for sure... in fact I am 100% sure that there are guys killing it on YT on a regular basis that know 100 times what I know in that area.

I didn't kill it but still get between 40 and 50 a month from that 2 hours of my life as most of those videos are still ranking for their respective KWs.

I'm sure you're not making this up and the methods like not use back links and probably use automated views, subs and comment (not sure if you did) with long tail keywords to 40 accounts is just a mystery to me.

I created over 500 youtube accounts with bought reviews from several persons. I made copies of over 20 unique videos across all 500 and sent one simulated view per day until I stopped because it didn't do anything. All keywords are collected from adword keyword tool with over 10 clicks per months. I used the bum marketing style and have about 1500 keywords to pick from. In ClickBank I get average of 10 hops per day and I guess 90% real humans.

Would you rather listen to the losers who tell you it can't be done, or the ones who have done it and are telling you how they did it?

You make it so simple in making a looser stereotype that whines that it didn't work for them. It is not about getting discouraged by those people and get upset and call them looser but instead get the facts of their methods and use them in contrast to peoples success stories. If 20 people say that spamming guest books doesn't work you use that knowledge and try that last instead of first. If you could only find one person telling you that they failed in a method you could use that first.

The true fails that are to be a known facts are very likely to stay. G would probably not decide to remove it from their SE algorithm if we are talking about a SEO method. With the methods people say they had success with you really don't know. It might still work or it ended working years ago. You may try a method and give your best to tweak it and after wasting a year trying it out you can learn that it didn't work. Wouldn't it be nice to know about that before you try it?

Look, the problem is that when the majority of people fail, they have no idea WHY they failed. They will make weak excuses to support their theories but in all honesty the number one reason for failure is laziness, not working hard enough or not working smart. Even if they detailed every step, it would be meaningless. If you close your mind to opportunities, just because somebody else may have failed, then you may miss out on that big money maker. Yes it can be helpful and save a little time to avoid common pitfalls but just from the process of failure you can find better ways of doing things or new avenues to explore.
For every failure out there, somebody else is making money from the method/niche.
Every successful person has failed on numerous occasions, so failing is part of success, don't be afraid of it.

It is good that you prove me wrong of the methods. I'm just amazed that it works for you. I hope more people can verify these claims. We can learn so much from it.
I'm not saying that people shouldn't stop trying just because some people say it doesn't work. I'm saying that they can be really good for knowing what to try first. It can save people so much time.

I want to listen to everyone. Just by interacting and reading about it in this thread I learned that I shouldn't throw methods away even if I'm sure it doesn't work. It is actually perfect because even if this works for you I can try the method last. The things I'm most sure will not work I try them last. It is all about likely and not likely and never about never.

Hey Nattsurfaren,

I think that your trying to make this a black / white situation when the reality of the topic is that there is no black (success) or white (failures)

When it comes to IM, they grey areas are essentially what I gained / learned everything from. It's the process of failure and success in which you begin to use that common sense you talked about, then you can start extracting all the stuff that worked and what didn't work for you.

If the title of this thread were the exact opposite "what black hat methods can we all agree upon work 100%"

It would be full of people doing the exact same thing were doing now.. Giving our opinions.

Why this thread may be frustrating for some of us is that your simply asking a question that can't be answered.

What may not work for someone could potentially work great for someone else (maybe has a better work ethic, creativity etc)

All depends on the person, IMO.

With that being said, I won't leave you hanging.

I tried some top rating comment CPA advertising (youtube) a while back for a month or so, I couldn't make it work.

I was seeing barely any revenue for the amount of work I was putting in, so I stopped.

This doesn't mean that the method didn't work, I just decided that I wasn't willing to put in the time to make it work.

Sorry for the long post, not trying to come off as a dick either.

Best of luck

No worries friend about coming off as a dick.
I love that you shared what didn't work for you. If you shared the detail and methods we could all help each other out and share our experience. This is why fails are so awesome. If people would share this more often then maybe we could see some pattern and learn from that. The truth is nobody except me seams to have that mind set which is sad.

Getting PR9 links from Gmail accounts.

This never worked for me no matter how many Gmail accounts I created.

I think this method got over-saturated and Google quickly closed this loophole.

That is interesting. Could someone else confirm this or does someone have success with it?

Meh, if you seriously can't see that was a troll post then you really need to learn more about SEO before opening this thread.

So I need to know every technique and trick to be accepted as a thread starter about SEO?
Seriously?

I'll bet many people here wouldn't recognize he was trolling.
