Ahrefs works best for me personally, but Semrush is also a solid option, especially since it offers some free features.

A lot of experienced SEO professionals expecially ones that use PBN's are blocking all the analytic services , semrush, moz, ahrefs bots. I witnessed it on one of my local competitors. His backlinks are only showing some low DA directories but no matter what we do we can't seem to outrank him. I know they use PBN's.
