What are your favorite backlink types in 2020?

Genuine guest posts = on genuine sites, with genuine traffic
Niche edits = on genuine sites, with genuine traffic
PBNs = Build your own or go with quality vendors.
 
For a new domain I would start building links mostly with White hat baclinks (directories, mentions, partner sites etc) and then when you have some, then expand to PBNs, Guest blogging etc. Diversify a lot, so it looks more natural.
 
It's hard to rank with ONE favorite backlink type. Here are my fav types,
  • Editorial backlinks
  • Guest blogging backlinks
  • Backlinks in business profiles
  • Badge backlinks
  • And last Social backlinks.
 
Where are black hat SEO link types like spammy forum profiles, k2 profiles, comments, guestbooks etc?
 
  1. Editorial Backlinks. Editorial backlinks
  2. Relationship-Based Backlinks.
  3. Guest Blogging.
  4. Niche Directories.
 
Guest posts on websites with real editorial review are the best. Followed by paid gust post.
 
Decreasing priority:

#1 Outreach post backed by quality PBNs.
#2 PBNs
#3 Niche Edits
#4 Outreach without PBNs
#5 Editorial links [no seo power but helps]
#6 Forum links
#7 web2.0s [Medium, blogger etc]
