Please, let's not make this a flame thread.

Our first year anniversary is coming up and my wife's getting me a new laptop. I'm a PC user and always has been. But I'd like to know if a lot of SEO people are using the PC or the Mac.

I know that there are threads here that discuss the pros and cons. What I want to know is how many people are using the PC and how many are using the Mac.

If we see a significant number of people using the Mac, then it's obvious that you can run SEO tools on it effectively.

So..Are you using a PC or a Mac? If you're using both, what do you use more for SEO?

Need to add a "Both" category

Program/Design on a Mac and use tools on a Windows Laptop and Windows Server
 
I only use my Mac`s. And when i need to run some SEO tools, I just start up my windows partition inside parallels or VMware. Runs smooth.
 
I didn't add "Both" because I'm sure you have a "go-to machine" for your SEO tasks.

So I just edited my question in my post. Which do you use more for SEO tasks if you have both?
 
Mac on the desktop (well laptop really) and FreeBSD on the server.

Winblows for games (Bad Company 2 FTW).
 
I'm running a pc,since I can use more programs

Is there anyone here that is running a self built mac computer? I know its possible if you use intel cpu.
 
I use Imac for design and laptop for seo.. Does scrapebox work on a mac?
 
Stick to Windows man - Mac is a pain in the ASS - only good for games,design and architecture.

Selfmade high end one , but in oldscool design ^^ :P
but win 7 insead of linux :(
 
I'm currently running a PC, and I plan to build another PC for my next project. Afterwards, I plan to buy my first Mac.

but I got a 6cor 3.2 ghz amd 1050 and it halls but plus I got 16GB DDR3 Ram. My baby smokes it. Only time i use all of it is when im using after effects or 3ds max. Have you ever seen 15 gb of ram being used at one time? Crazy.

only 1000 with no OS. So I would rather have my machine for 1000 than an inferior mac for 3000
 
I m a windows user and i love it. Lots of flexibility. But if you are into designing go for MAc.
