Stick to Windows man - Mac is a pain in the ASS - only good for games, design and architecture.
Obviously you haven't been to an engineering or web development conference lately.
There's seems to be a misconception dating back to the OS 9 days that Macs are for designers only. Macs may still be good for design but what makes them powerful for us spammers is that you get a fully featured Unix userland and bash shell underneath the clean and efficient Mac desktop.
The hardware is great quality and everything just works, unlike when you're trying to get Linux to work on a laptop (or even Windows with its frequent breakages and required maintenance), meaning you can just plug it in and get to work with no fucking around.
Even the president of the United States uses a Mac!

But its still better to built a custom mac if you know how to,apple overcharges.
A $3000 mac can be built for probably $1500. Which means you can spend $1500 on a VPS,proxies, seo tools, some domains and hosting and still have alot left over to spend on ads.
Absolutely not. You can't build your own laptop and Apple's unibody hardware is the best quality out there at the moment, except for maybe the Panasonic Toughbook, which is a totally different niche and unsuited to a daily work machine.
Apple isn't "overcharging" - they're charging what their (generally affluent) customers are willing to pay.
The point of buying a proper Mac is that you get an engineered combination of hardware and software that "just works." You pay a premium to avoid the fucking around of building your own rig and trying to get the software to work (no EFI converters, compatibility issues etc). The point of paying extra is that you get software that is designed to work with specific hardware and work with no fucking around.
That $1500 you may or may not save is quickly diminished by your extra productivity on an integrated machine and the time spent building and maintaining your Hackintosh. If I consider my time to be worth $50-100 an hour (in fact I would say it's worth a lot more), then you do the math. Also, with a Hackintosh, you run the risk that every time there's an update that your computer might stop working if Apple decides they don't want people running OS X on non-Apple hardware anymore.
Yes, Macs cost more than a PC, but you're paying for concrete advantages for a given usage scenario (that of a professional web developer and marketer whose time is money). Amortized daily over the life of the computer, the difference ends up being negligible.
Windows users treat their PCs like appliances while the Mac owners stroke their machines as they mutter "My precious " over and over again. Two different approaches to a common need, one is practical whereas the other borders on being a cult. As they say to each his own.
