Depends what I'm doing. When I'm working, I can't do lyrics as I start focusing on them. Movie sound tracks or trailer soundtracks (two steps from hell is a great example) tends to be there I go.
If I'm travelling podcasts or audio books. If I'm not going to focus on the words then it'll be rock (how heavy? Depends on how the day has gone :p)

Listened to a bit, pretty nice and chill. Perfect for getting rid of background noise without being overpowering.

Nice, kept waiting for the crescendo though.

I suggest we all listen to music to focus better while working. Sometimes just to relax too.

Tip: set your volume to around the 70 decibels if you listen music to focus; a higher level will get you distracted; listening to familiar songs also gets you distracted, you find yourself you know all the lyrics which steals your attention, your cognitive power goes to singing the song instead.

To answer your question I listen to almost any genre of music.

Recently I found that minimal techno works nicely for me. I also listen to 90's old school rap; and now that the winter it's coming I like the vibe of soul/electronica music like Chet Faker, TwoFeet, this type of artists, they give me a winter vibe.
