I use this one day a year to buy all my little girls Christmas and birthday presents. I find she gets a lot more for a lot less. Mind you my wife's a hard core shopper so any deals we get are usually really good. some things are not on sale but look on sale like @blogzandstuff said but if you know your pricing or get super sales it's not bad. Just don't buy crap for the sake of buying crap that's how you save.

Her birthdays in November and Christmas is right after so if I waited I'd be a bad father and crush her belief in Santa lol but you are right I usually buy all my big ticket items then, furniture, appliances, tools... Way better savings

Never crush here belief in Santa, I have the Santa tracker on in my office and we are grownups lol!

Yah it was the best part of growing up everything was real and magical....... Then you get married now you are Santa, then in 20 years you look like him lol

I will definitely go for some technical equipment (lenses, tripods and mic) for my DSLR camera. Another thing I've been doing for the past 3 years is buying some food supplements, such as whey protein, creatine, vitamins & peanut butter. In addition to that, I will probably go local and check what the malls are offering.
