Currently i know only one SEO technique its create backlinks, so what are the other SEO friendly SEO techniques. (other-than backlinks)

There's On Page SEO and Off Page SEO. For off page SEO, it'smore than just backlinks. There's more than one kind of backlink (blogs, forums, directories, social media, social bookmarking, and tons more).
 
SEO-friendly SEO techinques..Hmm interesting way you put it. On page SEO you mean? Pick up a book about it and read, there isn't a lot to it. Proper use of h1 tags, alt text, good grammar, etc.
 
Unique content and selecting the right keywords that really show your site. Also the proper use of HTML tags and using your keywords in them really helps. Black hat techniques get you the traffic and rankings but White hat techniques make sure you stay there.
