It's overlooked. New keyword searches are done every day on Google.

Basically anything that directs to your site is a seo
make a you tube video, and say the name of your website but don't give them a link - now people have to manually type it in, when lots of people do this it gives you good page rank as everyone knows about you but no visible links, it is one of the least used methods as most people do affiliate work

I think you should research keywords, optimize content and websites, and optimize for mobile devices
