Hello guys!

I am not totally new in IM but in the past there have been "just" PR as important metric.

Currently PR is mostly useless as its not updated at public anymore.

I know there are important metrics like:
TF/CF - Trust Flow & Citation Flow (Majestic)
PA/DA - Page Authority & Domain Authority (SeoMoz)

Whats more important:
TF/CF vs PA/DA
Links (Moz) vs External Links (Majestic)

What other metrics are important for most of seo gurus?

Thank you!

Use a mix of everything and the quality of the links. For a rule of thumb PA/DA can be easily manipulated. So TF and the quality of the links are the best IMO.. You can have a TF of 35 but the links have no "juice" to them so pick wisely ;)

I would add the UR rating from ahrefs, too.

Spam score should be low (<4-5). And I think the TF/CF is more important.

You should always have an eye for the backlinks. TF/CF should be considered as well.

hey dude my suggestion is
-KEYWORD RANKING
-THE QUALITY OF YOUR BACKLINKS
-AVERAGE TIME ON PAGE
-PAGE LOAD SPEED
-RETURNING VISITORS
this or the most important for SEO.

1st Spam Score. Then Both are Considerable in My Opinion (Im Not SEO GURU).

Trust flow/citation flow always play an important role in SEO. They are very important than other metrics and also don't forgot about spam score (<5) which some of them said above.

TF and the amount of links, a TF 25 with 3 link I a red flag, TF 25 with 100K links is a red flag, my sweet spot is between 25 and a 1000 links.

The most important metric is checking the backlink profile, what type of links are those, how strong are they, what is the anchor... that is info you will never get from a metric, metrics are nothing more but a sorting tool

What you mentioned are main metrics but with those, expired domains etc will play vital role and thats in trend because you will find all these above features in these domains.

CF and TF are no 1 for me, age second. An aged domain with low cf and tf cant rank, but not wont.

TF/CF is pretty neat about telling the quality of site besides that use OSE spam score and new backlinks

Always check the backlink profile first. Metric is number 2. Sometimes Majestic didn't pick up Wikipedia link, so how can it be "trusted" tho? DA PA is also manipulated af.

Yes, of course.. Spam score as low and TF/CF are the most important thing nowadays. Quality backlinks as well :)

TF is very important, especially compared to CF. You want to aim for a CF/TF ratio that's as low as possible, ideally it would be 1.00 (pretty much illusional), anything that goes towards 2.0 is fishy, for some buycheapnikeshoes.whatever domains you'll see values around 9. PA/DA or aHrefs domain rank are handy, too.

Really depends on your overall approach. I personally use metrics to filter down huge lists and sort out the obviously weak and spammed sites, the next step is manually looking at backlink profiles. You'll always find domains with bad links and good metrics as well as great links and bad metrics, they are really just an indicator and the final decision should always be based on a manual review. It's not that much different from the work of a Google webspam team member: some algorithm may issue a warning, but a penalty is always based on manually looking at the backlinks.

Wow, nice amount of replies! Thank you guys!

I am not going to reply one by one. But thank you for pointing the SPAM metrics.

So best way of domain "checking" is to check TF/CF, DA/PA, SPAM score, and of course a little lurking in backlinks to check for any red flags, right?
