This is what I use in all of my websites, from get go.
- LiteSpeed Cache
- OMGF : You only need this if your using multiple fonts on the site and it makes this site load faster too.
- Rank Math SEO
- UpdraftPlus - Backup/Restore : I connect it to google drive, for weekly backups, it stores 2 backups 1 gets deleted after a new backup.
- Wordfence Security
- Cloudflare : Its not a plugin but it makes the website secure, My sites got attacked a lot. This and Wordfence actually saved my site and reduced the load on my server.

I am using rank math for all of my site, Other plugin not working very good. Where rank math solve every seo problem. I suggest you to use rank math.

In my experience, All in one SEO pack is decent. But i switched to SEOpress recently and liked the performance improvements.

I use Yoast SEO for basics (sitemaps, meta tags) + Rank Math for more advanced stuff like schema, rich snippets, and link redirections. Both good depends how much you want control.

Yoast is appropriate for beginners but you can use Rank Math if you don't want to go for paid version now
