What are some reliable competitor traffic sniffing tools/methods?

What are some reliable traffic source estimation/sniffing tools of competitors? I'm not talking about Adwords keyword sniffing, but tools/methods which we can use to figure out where a certain competitor is getting most traffic from - either the domain or exact URL. I.e. Alexa.com shows some.
