I have to agree with OP Quick Heal is a product that is something very few people on BHW are aware of it's better than Kaspersky by miles IMHO....
 
i prefer kaspersky than Quick heal
i was a quick heal user but i found out that they could heal and i chose kaspersky thereafter, havent looked back since then.
And i would reccommend using them.
 
Don't run it regularly. I use malware bytes a couple times a month, and if I get an infection I cant beat, load up e-scan for windows, clean the machine and remove it.

I am an old time PC bug chaser, so usually I can just clean out the bad guys myself.

I run Sophos once a month to see what's there.
 
Vote for Avira , but remember that Malware Bytes will get you from $hit most of times.
 
I use Comodo Internet Security Plus 2013, it beats any paid software in the market. The free version is also great.

Check also the internet browsers that they offer: Comodo Ice Dragon (based on Firefox) and Comodo Dragon (based on Chrome).

Depends where, when I bought my laptop I got a free license for McAfee so I use it there. On other computers I use AVG free. Plus, on every computer Spybot - Search & Destroy :)
 
Am I the only one still running AVG ? When I started using it 6-7 years ago it was unbeatable.....still happy with it today but might have a look at Kaspersky and Avast. Tried Norton and hated it.
 
My vote goes to Eset Nod32 Antivirus 6.

Light on resources and a beast at picking up all those nasties!
 
I use avast! for 3years now, never been infected since :)
 
Here is something for everyone:

why waste money and resource (RAM/CPU) on Antivirus when you can use it for something else. :P
