I plan to go to Barcelona for a few months. Allthought I would have to learn catalan in this way, and that wouldn't be much usefull if I ever plan to go to south-america.

I still speak very little spanish mate lol but I get by so its all good :p

Damn bro, that's awesome I hope around my 1 year mark i'll be cruisin' and boozin'

Spanish is actually very easy to learn... my parents never taught me how to speak it (and we moved off the island when I was a baby) and I just started learning it this last year. I'm pretty good at writing and my pronunciation is perfecto pero when I try and speak it's hard for me to contruct sentences fast..i'm still getting used to even speaking it... my mom says she regrets not teaching me but oh well gotta get up and get my own!

I am one of those newbies to whom you refer. My whole goal here is to build something so that, a year from now, I have an income built that can allow my wife to stay home so that we can start a family, and (hopefully) have an income large enough that I can focus on starting my PhD program. I can't do that without a career that allows me to stay home.

All that to say... It is comforting to hear from people who have done what I am hoping to do. My focus is list building rather than straight SEO, but I hope to be writing a post of my own like this in a year's time.

Haha, I'm about halfway through my year of IM and making decent progress. I am not making around $6 a day and I'm looking to reinvest that soI can get more money! :)

How's Madrid by the way? It seems like paradise over there, I'd like to live there some day!

Haha great, but try a sunday "goa" or a saturday "code" if find them even more crazy. A shame there is not not as many people as it used to be 5-7 years back when spanish people where not in such a crisis. But still one of the best parties in europe :beerchug:

Yeah I hear the Goa parties are amazing I think there is one within the next few weeks i've seen advertisements for it, we hang out a lot at Kapitol too amazing club! its owned by the same guys that own Fabrik

You dont need to learn Catalan to go to Barcelona. Everyone speaks Spanish there. It is the official language after all.

I am amazed that besides these clubs still being open that the special nights are still actually named the same as they were years ago! DJ Pepo rules.. being going to listen to him since 1989 at ATTICA. LOL 23 years ago. That was before you were even born t0mmy!

Its been a crazy year for me also, Im still not completely successful but heading the right direction, The BHW team will always find ways to succeed no matter what updates come, etc. Congrats on your success man :)
 
Congratulations on your success t0mmy. I started IM a year ago too, but ended up needing to take a job that took me away from IM, just as I was getting into it. I have been back for possibly just short of a month, and am determined to give it a good go this time.

I have enough funds to last me another two months then I'll be back looking for a job unless I make a success of this. Would dearly love to become independent, emulating your success would be amazing!

All the best for the future.
