So I noticed that I've been here over a year now actually it was last weekend my BHW anniversary funny thing is I was sitting drinking beers with ExtraWinner in his "private paradise" as i call it at the time, anyway not going to make this one of those long winded speeches this is more of a thank you to everyone here on BHW and a few words to new people to the forum...
One year ago I joined here, I was lucky enough to stumble across BHW before any place else, like a lot of other people I spent the first few months trying different things all the time with little to no results, I then got a great opportunity to work with EW and a few other guys and this set the course for me and defined what I wanted to concentrate and focus on which as you can tell is SEO, some would say not the wisest of choices but I would disagree! sure these updates are a nightmare but we adapt and BHW has some of the greatest minds on the internet who are always willing to help so its no surprise the SEOs here are often ahead of the game thus making this the best place to be in my biz, so I had found my home...
What I'm trying to say is to any newbies here is to pick one thing and focus on it, I lived SEO and BHW for almost 8 months before getting to a nice comfortable level (if thats ever possible! lol), build up a solid product/service/biz and put all your focus on it, also the most important thing I feel helped me over the last year is my friends here on BHW! So reach out to people make friends! I have friends here some of them are as close to me as my best friends irl I have met 1 of them and have plans to meet more in the future, from all the guys in the BHW IRC, ExtraWinner, secretboy, rakoom and all the BH2 team they have all helped me along the way and made were I am at the minute possible and I want to thank them all and BHW for everything!
One year ago I was sitting in rainy Ireland almost broke, today I live in one of the best cities in the world sunny Madrid, I work hard and I play harder! Thank you all so much and I look forward to many more years on this amazing forum, new guys get stuck in you will find your feet trust me!
