Im a volunteer at a non-profit and been asked to help with the SEO from April.

I have a decent budget to work with but to be honest in the past results from fiverr were nothing more than money down the drain.

Could you guys point me in the direction of some quality SEO guys that have had results, I dont want to waste any of the nonprofits money.

I'd check out the marketplace. One thing you do not want to do is get a bunch of Fiverr gigs, that will end up killing their SEO in the long run.

I'd suggest investing in a lot of content writers and keyword research
 
Invest that money in learning more about SEO.
 
yeah stay clear of most Fiverr gigs, especially the link building ones. For a local business the first thing I would do is make sure they have a google business page, order around 50 citations and order some branded social/ web 2.0 profiles and then buy some pbn links from a reputable seller.
 
Like Adrian said, don't invest anything, learn first (there is a lot great threads on BHW and it's for free), learn about keyword research, learn about on-page seo, learn about tier linking, then invest in some quality article writers, create yourself some web 2.0 and then finally you can invest in GSA and PBN links
 
If you are serious about SEO don't waste your time and money on Fiverr. There are some decent providers here, read the reviews and make your choice!
 
You are at the right place now. There are lot of best result driving services available here in market place. Hire the service provider, who can make you well satisfied with their service :)
 
I recommend you at least read up on the basics of SEO.

You can ruin their entire website with 1 bad purchase.
 
This really depends on what type keywords and how mich you trying to rank them. If you just want to give them a boost or keep them stable then get a link diversity service. If your trying to rank ti page one are are stuck and site as foundation of links you shpild get PBN links.

Go to marketplace, read the reviews of various seo services and take a conscious call.
 
I think you don't spend much on SEO. Most of the stuffs are free online now these days besides aquiring backlinks.
 
Start with setting up your trust links for free. Social Media Profiles, Citations Ect... Stuff you really dont need to spend much money on. Before ordering make sure you know enough about using the products you purchase to use them properly and not waste money like with fiverr
 
First ill buy the dummies book on seo (( amazing book very well written))

Then next i get a really good video tutorial on seo 2016.

I would read anythink related to seo on here.

i would then join a forum deadcated to seo

Then ill buy a keyword application to understand keywaords value.

Keywords with content is king and here to stay.

i would not let anybody do my seo work

i would get educated to do it my self it a good investment
To learn seo as you get good understanding the principles as seo
changes your find it easy to adapt to any situation in the seo world.

Well OP has been a member here since 2014, so I'd hope he at least *knows* the basics of SEO. In that case, browse the marketplace here after you set a solid keyword strategy. And if you don't know enough to set a strategy you may need to go back and learn more SEO before you mess with that site. Nothing worse than monkeying with SEO with too little understanding.
 
Don't spend money on SEO for a non-profit. Spend that money on a marketing campaign. Spend that money on something creative. If you have a monthly budget, do something creative and different each month. For my clients, we're always looking for unique and out of the box ways to spend a budget. Rarely is buy a link the best value for the money.
 
fuk SEO, I thought google gave $10k per month free in adwords for charities?
 
Learn SEO techniques from google and BHW. Don't waste your time and money
