Weebly Sites, Removing robots.txt restriction

Does anyone know how do I remove the robots.txt restriction on weebly? I have researched a bit it seem they require to upgrade to paid version in order to remove robots.txt

Will I able to keep my existing weebly subdomain if I upgrade?

(btw, I wrote to weebly support. They doesn't reply. So, I rely on your wisdom)

I don't know about your first question, but you should be able to keep you subdomain if you upgrade.

I've never used Weebly, so take this with a grain of salt.

yes you have to upgrade to get your new blog indexed in search engine and you will keep your subdomain.

Earlier I had a free Weebly account. Have you modified any settings to block search engine search? If yes, makes changes to it and you will be good to go. If not, then maybe it's only a paid service they offer. You are good to keep your subdomain!

The indexing is turned of my default. When I click it, it takes me to the upgrade page.

AVOID WEEBLY.

They are just extorting newbies.

There are tons of better services which are for free and don't extort for basic shit (like allowed indexing).
Also, using free services is like building house on mud). Get domains and some 5$/month shared hosting from Hostgator, Dreamhost, Servage .....

You have to pay. That's why I removed weebly as one of the options from my Web 2.0 creation service.

Not worth to pay for it if you are using it for SEO purposes, just create Web 2.0-s in other sites, there are plenty of lists floating around BHW regarding Web 2.0 sites to use!
