    Hi Guys,
I have seen a few posts on fb where the url mentioned on the post will be different and when you click on the post it goes to a different website.
I have seen diply, wittyfeed and couple of other websites use this technique.
Wanted to know how these guys do this and what is the beefit of doing something like this.

You need a little script code to do that.

    Driving traffic.

The poster is hiding the actual link by cloaking the link.

The post may look like the link is something well known and trusted to increase click throughs but the link is actually going to their site where they are promoting.

It's not a simple process as there are a lot of moving parts when it comes to doing that on FB so you can't just pick up a cloaker and plug and play.

It is a major event to use that process and not something that can be mastered in 15 minutes.

Also, should some of that process be made public it would make it harder yet to do.

You can use the code above but be careful because some fb bots follow js redirects...
