Hi all,
I have two separate domains; let's say abc.com and abc.co.uk. Most of the people who wish to join my company come from UK, but currently as on abc.com is live (which is targeted towards US), all job seekers visits my .com site. This creates a useless 2k monthly traffic.
I am now planning to launch .co.uk site, and redirect all UK based visitors visiting .com to .co.uk domains using 301 redirect. But, I don't know the SEO implications of doing so, how would this affect my current SEO efforts (I'm getting links only from US based sites). I know that while doing a 301 redirect the authority gets split-up, for UK based visitors and kws, this is fine for me. But, I don't want anything to happen to my US based kws. Anyone has any experience with this?
Also, what tool do you folks use to perform a country specific redirection?
Any help will be appreciated!
