I'm more or less new to this SEO / IM game. I've read quite a few threads on this forum over the last couple weeks. I understand that generally the idea is to financially benefit from manipulating internet traffic. I'm still reading and thinking over things so I haven't tried anything yet, but I imagine I will soon. One thing I've noticed is that most of the time people are using programs (xrumer, senuke, scrapebox, etc..) to control that traffic in some automated way. From what I've seen, almost all of these programs are executables that run locally on your computer. Is there a reason more of these programs aren't web-based, 2.0 style applications? It seems like a web-based application would have some real benefits for IM related work. You'd get reliable hardware and internet connections, bandwidth would be scalable, and you wouldn't always have to be attending your computer and software. The move towards web-based applications seems like it'd be great. Why aren't there more programs like this? Have I missed something?
