Web Hosting with DreamHost, while using a Domain from Google Domains

Hi everyone, day hot night warm. Me make e-commerce store on Wordpress using WooCommerce. Me buy a Google Domain. Me thought that it, website is ready to go. Me try use website, it say WARNING connection is not private, can't even access website. Oh no, not good. Me mini-panic, read online me need SSL Certificate and also website needs to be Hosted by a company. Me research best Web Hosting sites. Find DreamHost, buy Dreampass for $20/month. Me think ok. Me sign up and now DreamHost say my Domain is "not currently Hosted" on their website? WTF me pay $20 for? Now me trying to figure out how to Host my domain on DreamHost. But what the hell did I just pay $20 for if they not hosting my domain? Question for you is how can me host my Google Domain on DreamHost? Thanky

Should have went with cloudflare

It looks like you do not have your site pointed to your host.

That would be the first thing to check.

Should that not be an issue then hit up their support as I am sure (although they are over priced) they will be glad to help you out in a timely manner.

You point your domain to your nameservers provided by dreamhost.

You paid $20 for their hosting. For the domain you have to go into your Google domains dashboard, and put in the ip address of your DreamHost server in the A record in your DNS (you can find this somewhere in the cPanel/dashboard of your hosting).

Just google these to find detailed steps online.
