Why wouldn't they be worth it. There are some great tutorials on YouTube about we design pretty sure there are also Udemy courses about it as well

You can get quite a bit done for free on CodeAcademy. You can go through the free material of whatever you're wanting to learn, and then sign up for Pro ($40/month) to take full advantage of what they offer if you want. I found the projects, quizzes, and further unlocking material to be worth it. If you want to take a completely free route then use The Odin Project. It's maintained by an open-source community, and as I said it is 100% free.
My advice would be to go through both of them, and maybe a Udemy course after that! When it comes to programming regardless of the language you're going to want to reinforce knowledge A LOT. It helps you get more of those "aha!" moments where things start to really make sense. Don't give up, and don't get trapped in tutorial purgatory either. As soon as you feel a bit comfortable start working on projects on your own. Start small and slowly get more advanced with what you're making. Good luck!

Thank you very very much. "don't get trapped in tutorial purgatory either" I've felt this so many times while learning other things through tutorial videos. It gets overwhelming sometimes. I took a couple of lessons on Codecademy for learning Python, I agree their lessons are pretty good. The Odin Project is new to me, I'll check that out.

No problem! Lots of people get stuck in tutorials so that’s why I mentioned that. Making things on your own is really what drives home knowledge regardless of how big or small the project is. Also, remember that like 80% of a software developers job is spent googling stuff and reading documentation. We can’t remember everything!
