Hey community , I am web designer. I've been looking out projects for my portfolio.Till now , I have wasted lot of time. If any experienced Web designers available , Please give some Project idea.

By saying you're a web designer, I suppose you might be able to code as well. If that's the case, try creating working demos of the designs you like and use GitHub pages to host them; otherwise, you can get inspired at dribbble.com and build your portfolio there.

Are you a designer or a web designer aka a builder of websites?
If you are the first, you would create designs or collect them on a page to showcase your asthetics. Lookup fiver gigs and their portfolio and put yourself in the shoes of a buyer. Would I buy from this person? Can I see what they like to do, what their style is?
If the second, you just need a list of projects - there should be enough organizations out there which would be happy with a new built webiste.
Then take on a few projects in areas you like working it.
