Web 2.0s

Hey everyone on the BHW community. This is my first post on the forum and from the threads, I've been reading there's a lot of talk about web 2.0's. My knowledge of SEO is advanced and I just would just like a confirmation that my hypothesis is correct. I believe web 2.0's is a backlinking strategy that involves some form of guest posting or some sort.

Web2.0 is where you sign up at sites that are typically but not limited to blogs, it also includes getting links from user profiles on other sites.

I’m assuming these sites have to have high DA or traffic to provide value to a money site?
