just curious if it would be worth my time to create hundreds/thousands of wordpress sites and point them all to my $ site. I'd be using an automated tool.

My question is - would that many add any value, showing different backlinks or would it not be valuable since its all coming from one domain? (site1.wordpress.com, site2.wordpress.com)

please note that i know i need to diversify and i plan to use the above strategy with multiple web 2.0 properties (1000 wordpress, 1000 moonfruit, 1000 typepad...ect), i just want to know if its worth the effort to make large quantities of each.

use senuke and create them across a bunch of different sites

complete waste of time

get varied web 2.0 sites or it would be pointless

well, there are only so many web 2.0's...lets say that there's 100 of them and i create 5 blogs on each - total of 500 backlinks...are you saying it would be pointless to do 1000 blog on each for a total of 100,000 backlinks?

please explain why...

i wouldnt use wordpress, you will lose them if the content isnt good.

I only used wordpress as an example...the main point is would it be valuable to create 1000's of profiles on EACH web 2.0, whatever it may be...?

reason being i want to know it it's worth my while to create templates in zennoposter/ubot... im not going to create tempates if im only going to create 5-10 profiles/blogs per web 2.0....BUT....if im going to create 1000's per web 2.0 then it will definitely be worth my time/$

the point was you said wordpress and you would have all your links coming in from wordpress, that would have set off triggers at google, if you are saying you will have varied backlinks from many sources that is different

so if i have 1000's from wordpress, 1000's from tumblr, 1000's from moonfruit, and so on ....then this is a good strategy?

Its better to have 5 links from Quality web 2.0 sites that have PR than 1000 low quality sites.

With Panda, think quality and not quantity.

I think you could use them to link to multiple sites, but for one site, it's not going to be that beneficial. If you're going to create that many properties, I think you're better off creating far less and loading them with better/more content. That ought to yield better results for sure.

obviously 1000 web 2.0's , 100 different domains x 10 is better than just the 100. But start off with just 100 and point 900 web 2.0's to your 2.0's in tiers, up to you if you want to interlink them to tiers of the same level, i tend not to.

it depends who you are trying to beat in the serps, one of my clients is in the "party niche" and his competitor is the family of the woman who just married prince william so they have about 200 pr4+ backlinks to the site from wiki, bbc, times, etc etc, all mentioning the fact that they own a party site and a nice little link back to them.

they actually have about 30 wiki links to the site and at least 10 from the bbc, all from different pages with huge authority.

You could build a million web 2.0s and you aint going to move them fuckers from the #1 spot.

the point is you need to do your research and look at what your competitors are doing...then its quite simple.

DO MORE OF IT AND BETTER.

I never understood why people do this. Its a complete waste of time

Having hundreds of sites linking to you from one domain is a waste of time.

You need to spread your backlinks out across as many different domains as you can.

However, having hundreds of accounts on a lot of different services can be beneficial if you know how to use them.

With that said, I wouldn't recommend making hundreds or thousands of accounts and pages unless you absolutely need them, and I would definitely either outsource it use software to make them.

Well if you are using an automated tool, I am sure that there are other sites that you can create accounts on...sooo..pick idk the 10 best web 2.0s with the highest page rank split the links equal or say have 20% sites on the lowest page ranks 30% on second highest and 60% on the highest? Idk seems logical to me :D
