Hey everyone! First post Newbie here. Couple weeks into affiliate marketing, SEO, and to the BHW forum.
I was searching the web 2.0 keyword here in the forum and can not seem to find my exact question.

My question is: in 2018 I have found through research that the quality of web 2.0's is becoming more of an important factor.
For the experienced SEO guys out there: are you guys still using (quantity) 20-30+ web 2's to rank or are you finding better results using less but by building out your web 2's? I'm wondering if i should hold up on building more and focus more on buiding my originals out with weekly articles, infographics, social accounts etc.. To narrow down the generalness of the question, Keyword difficulty of 40 or less.

Also with the web 2.0's would it be a good idea to build out a couple web 2's just to point them to other web 2's and then point those web 2's to my money site? I was thinking by building web2's that point to web 2's that point to my money site would give them quite a bit of extra juice.?

If the question has already been asked my apologies, please point me in the right directions as I was not able to find it.

Thanks everyone!

Cheers!

Build your tier 1 links without any further tiers in mind and you will do find. Treat your web 2.0s well and they will be much more effective than shittons of crappy spun properties that will get deleted in no time.

I wouldn't go near building second tier manually.
I try to share my first tier on social media. Sometimes if the the content is really good it will get picked up and get some nice shares and backlinks naturally. But from my experience that needs really good content.

You are better of building 1 blog per day for 30 days, than 30 blogs in one day. Make it count and keep the velocity of your link building.

Nowadays for tier1 backlinks quality over quantity every time! With less, but quality links you can be sure they stay indexed and give link juice and authority. Throwing a lot of lower quality links at your site will be risky and less valuable.

Thank you don chino this is the answer i was looking for.
