I have been out of the game for a while and have decided to come back now I have more free time.

I bought a few Tumblr accounts that have decent PA and was wondering what would be the best way to send that juice to my site.

My plan as it stands (trying to be cautious):
  1. Setup each Tumblr with a few months worth of content, posting 1 item weekly.
  2. Create a high quality post on a relevant forum to my niche, this would contain a link to my money site with the keyword.
  3. Every so often create a link from one of the Tumblrs to that forum post.

So in essence it would flow "Tumblr > Forum > Money Site"

The keyword that I am trying to rank for seems to be fairly low competition (KWFinder: 24 – Easy).

Easy keyword means you can get ranking quick .

Write Latest news about your product and post the article with on page strategies.
Then share your post in all social media pages in related groups.
Get some traffic backlinks to that post.

Few things.

Do not rely on Kwfinder or any other automated tool to check your KW competition. As a quick filter, they are fine, sure, but in the end it has to be done manually. KW research is a part of your SEO campaign where you can fail even before you start. So very carefully there.

Regarding web 2.0s, do not focus on PA. That's inflated random toy metric. Ideally, always check referring domains first. In case of Tumblrs, focus on actual d0follow links. You can read more about metrics here - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/c...osts-metrics-spam-and-niche-relevancy.916518/

If you are planning to build your web 2.0s nicely, then do not waste them for tier 2 links. Point them straight to the money site. These are some of the safest links that you can ever get, do not waste them.

Agreed that if these are actually good, use them as tier 1 links directly to the money site.

If you are going to use web 2.0s as tier 2 links, point them at something a little better than a random forum post or blog comment. What if your forum post gets removed? Or moved to a different URL without a 301? Or 100 other people comment on the same page and raise the OBL, which leeches off of your efforts? If you use them as tier 2 links, do something more like this:
  • Web 2.0 --> PBN --> Money Site
  • (Shitty) Web 2.0 --> Good Web 2.0 --> Money Site
  • Etc.
