Web 2.0 Link Weel

For some reason, when you do webs 2.0 sites with the only idea of backlinks, they deleted them. It has happened to me a lot. But I keep trying anyways.

The op said his web2.0's got indexed, then disappeared.. not the main site. The web2.0's disappeared because they were set up in the old fashioned linkwheel form (a to b, b to c, etc). This set up a big red flag for trying to manipulate the serps, and got removed. At the same time, the main site got no benefit whatsoever from the linkwheel building effort.

So, in short, the linkwheel idea is effective, but the 'a to b to c back to a' model is not, because it is too easy to spot a pattern. Nowadays you need to think big. Expand your linking scheme in a randomized, chaotic fashion that google can't detect.
