Web 2.0 Link Weel

I used six 2.0 properties sites with 2 links in each. 1 link going back to my money page and the other link going to the next web 2.0 properties site.

I pinged all sites and all RSS feeds. One day later I had 2 of my web 2.0 sites ranked along with my money page all on page 1. 1 week later all 3 sites are gone not even on the first 50 pages..

WTF happened. I finally thought I had something working and now my sites are gone..

Any ideas please help..

That happen for my test site but it got rank for first page in first page afterward.. but after a 2 weeks it just stay on 2nd page only, maybe because I didn't update my linkwheel site. Anyway, it just a test. FYI, competing keyword search for more than 1,550,000
 
Don't give up yet. Put some social bookmarks behind the spokes and some blog comments directly to the site. It may come back strong. I dropped for a term I started building links out for - page 2 down to page 25+ and it came back a week later.
 
Mine did the same thing, they showed up in the links pointing to my site and then vanished to never return. At least I do not think they have returned. Maybe a better back link tool than yahoo would help.
 
I did social boomarks as well..
 
Try and get some more Do-Follow Backlinks ---

I'm just hoping Google didn't sandbox you

Could just be the google dance.

How old is your site?

Are the LinkWheel links the only ones pointing to your site?

If your site got sandboxed, just get one or two authority backlinks and it'll go fine

You stopped promoting. If you want to keep your rankings long-term, then you'd better do the work necessary.
 
the linkwheel works great.

but its not a method to rank your sites, its a piece of the puzzle.
just mix in all the other stuff you can think of.

also new sites tend to enter the serps high, and drop down to the actual place it belongs after a week or so.
just keep adding links and you`l be climbing your way back to the top.
 
when a person clicks on a link on search from a linkwheel, does it bring them to that other linkwheel site or to your site?

Otherwise people would be clicking through tons of wheel sites before they get to yours correct?
 
I hired some person to make 10 quality backlinks to each of my linkwheel pages. Works like a charm, they will stick longer.
 
Totally sounds like the sandbox to me this same sort of thing has happened to me several times. Its happening to me now. I even see new twitter accounts on page 4 and i am nowhere at all. Just keep sending links and sharp eye on you Google webmaster tools. Also keep the feeds updated with content. You'll have to push through it. Mine have came back very strong.

If you build up links then just stop you well get a huge slap by google.

The key is to make it look natural, do you think google would believe you getting 6 really good links in a time spawn of hour then you never get any more is natural. Think about it...
 
The past 3 weeks google have been updated their index big time I have had one keyword go from 1.5 mil to 6mil and then back down to 2.5. give it TLC (time links and content)
 
You gotta remember that gooogle has 2 bots - the first finds your pages when new and sticks em as close to page 1 as it usually can; then the 2nd bot spiders again and puts your pages where gooogle thinks they really should be.

Aint no mystery. Just keep on building links/adding content/following advice on BHW and you'll get back up there soon enough.
 
Started a site on 5-15-09 and did nothing but onpage seo and submitted one article to Ezine.

Stuck on page 2 for 2 weeks. So I built a link wheel on Monday - I think it was Monday. Now I am number 1 out of 1.9 million pages and I'm getting about 100 unique visitors a day to that site.

Link wheels work, you just have to be willing to "WORK" them people. Now get to it.
 
Yes....very nice idea. It is fantastic technique to own 1st page on google.
