You want to say that bot builded web2.0s are better quality then manually build ones? I don't think so.
Nobody uses SB blasts/botted web2.0s or any other kind of automated links directly to money site (after Penguin, of course). Why do you think it is case? Because they are such excellent quality, maybe?
Anyway, I don't want to argue. I was just proposing manual web2.0 building instead of automatic software.
No - you are right - manual ones are generally better.
But if you have dozens of URL's you want to link, and each one you would like many 1st tier links and many 2nd and 3rd tier links. Then doing that manually is either;
a) Very time consuming or
b) Very expensive
It'a a matter of scale. 1st tier links should mostly be content based links IMO (not profile links - even if people call the profile "WEB2 profile")
If you have one or two sites and just a handful of URL's within thse sites to promote, OR you are time rich but cash poor....then manual is best for sure. (My biggest thread on this forum is how to create them easily and quickly and manually)
However, if you have many sites or a couple of sites with a lot of content that needs backlinking (as these days you should backlink every major URL within your site) then manual is not really feasible.
I've bought "fiverr" gigs for first tier linking, and they lack either power or vesatility.
Been on WSO and tested some services there, here or traffic planet or wherever.
Any link offer that claims it effectively links one URL for under $50 tends to be below par - at least by my standards - no matter how hard they push the quality of the service.
I create 30+ quality posts or pages on my site network a week (1000 word average 100% unique posts or pages) I'm not spending $1500 a week getting them all power linked by a service with enough quality for my standards or worse, spend hundreds of hours creating links structures to each and every one by hand.
No..I'm going to spend 25 minutes each with an arsenal of good tools and good content and do it right.
To that end - automation comes in. Used entirely differently from the methods from even 6 months ago. Automation is still by far the most cost and time effective way of adding quality diverse links to a large number of URL's.
But if you fill your tools with crap content, don't think about youre linking structure, don't diversify anchor text and platform, go at it to fast or too hard post crap content etc ..you will likely fail these days.
But if someone does that it's THEIR mistakes - not the software.
