Web 2.0 as Moneysite ... ?

And don't forget. Even though I don't think web 2.0's as money sites is a good long term idea. You really don't need to hit your sites up with a lot of backlinks because people seem to trust and link to web 2.0's often.

Actually I think we need to get some kind of case study going with this to see some real data and draw up a realistic conclusion to if this is at all workable, long term...

Personally I think you are NUTS to try and make your Web 2.0 your
money site.

There's risk from just about every angle by giving up the ability to control
your own website.

Don't build your house on sand, its a poor foundation and won't last long.

Maybe so, but look at the investment vs return. It costs 5 bucks to get an article written, 5 bucks for a quick promotion.

Most of my web 2.0 I'm noticing I have the keyword phrase only once (sometimes 2-3, I don't really optimize my web 2.0 articles that much) in the entire article and it still ranks page 1... But for 10 bucks, I think its great. It makes 10x the amount back quickly and it also provides a really strong link to my website.

But everyone has their opinion, I'm actually just beginning to explore this. I never did before in the past because people always told me building on web 2.0 to rank is bad. Kinda wish I didn't listen to advice this when I was starting out (I learned that testing things for myself is the best approach). Maybe people said this because they knew how powerful it was.. who knows. I like the idea that I'm creating an income AND a nice backlink to my site at the same time.

webnode, weeble and blinkweb are good ones too - they never delete my affiliate links.
Have a few 2.0. that you have ads free for cheap as $20-$30/ year (wordpress,blog.com) - you know that this is very fast hosting so why not. I 100% agree that 2.0. are easy for rank. For adsense - blogger, weebly, squidoo and blinkweb are good enough as free properties.

so the list is growing- quite helpful
(thanks given of course)

I am exploring this option

What are the sites that put your web 2.0 in their website like squidoo?
