We need 3 data entry folks ASAP!

Hi all.

My company is looking for 3 data entry folks. We want to cross check performance between regular data entry workers and custom software we made for a customer. This is one time job only - it should take maximum 4 days to complete - paid as soon as all requirements are met.
The target = create full accounts on 80 websites and post 1 specific update to each of them (list provided).
This job requires screen recording, basic personal data like first name, country of residence and full permission to use it for marketing purposes ( we will send it to our corporate customer).
Base pay is $250 dropping $5 per each hour worked (if you have worked 20 hours to complete the task, you will get $150) but no less than $50 (regular data entry person should be able to finish this in around 20 hours though). Worked hour = logged and recorded hour.
We are not interested in agencies - just regular data entry/virtual assistant freelancers.
Since we are posting this to multiple other groups - please be aware I might not answer all applications.

I'm (as you'd probably guess) not interested in this, but I'm intrigued - is that the normal way pay is calculated for a data entry job? You don't pay by the job if done by a certain date, you deduct from compensation based on the number of hours people work? I've never heard of that before.

Hi Reallife.

We are cross checking performance of data entry clerks with our software to show improvement and cost savings compared to hiring VAs to do the task.
We want hired guys to do the job as quickly as possible so the customer sees its not staged.
So this is just our way to motivate people to do this asap after receiving details - we have done this before and most of the times this work as soon as pay is attractive (compared to $300-500 VAs usually make a month, idea of earning $150-200 for just 2-3 days of work is very attractive).

The fee is fixed but we are willing to pay $50 upfront to successful candidates and remaining after work is finished. This is usually not done but since I see a lot of scams were done in this forum related to hire freelancer section I am willing to go ahead and pay guaranteed minimum before work commences.
