We are all flawed

Bullshit.

I lay on my 200x180x30 bed/mattress and I enjoy every second of it. And you know what I'll do when I don't enjoy it? I'll remind myself on when I used to sleep in shit... well okay not really... when I used to sleep on a couch that opens and for a few years on a fucked up one that had the thing inside that was popping out a little bit and making me uncomfortable I always had to move to the side a little bit.

I'm an adult. As an adult I'll flash back to the bad times and so today will always be good, just as long as it's good.

Did you ever buy like a little sausage pie in the evening, and you ate half of it and left the other half to eat something in the morning to get you started. There was no other food, and money was tight. Well fuck me, nowadays I buy food whatever I want as much as I want and it makes me fucking happy, and if it ever doesn't make me happy and pumped I'll just remember the before and I'll be golden.

Did you ever go on a little vacation only to return to find your (rented) apartment door wide open, all your crap piled up in the living room, the bathroom renovated, the kitchen being renovated. Then your landlord tells you they were hoping to get it done before you returned, they wanna up your rent, and you have to pay the cleaning lady? And all you wanted was to get some fucking rest after the long bus ride home. And then that's unacceptabe, so you argue with the landlord and she kicks you out, and you have 1 week to find a new place to rent.

And then you find a new place to rent, but you don't have a car. Also the bus ride I mentioned above, because no car. So then how do you move your crap to the other side of the city in the new apartment? You call a taxi... 5 fucking times back and forth.

So...

Maybe you guys have short memories but I don't. I hold gurdges for a million years, and I remember the bad times and every slight for a million years. And that may be a negative trait, but we just found a positive to it - whenever I feel like my bed/car/money doesn't make me happy, just remember how it used to be, and be fucking happy.

So the conclusion is.

Everything can feel like sex. You just can't let the habituation in.
Moderation is key to your happiness.

Happiness isn’t achieved by external achievements.

No money , no house, no car can do it.

It’s a mindset as Deleted member 923340 said.

But I do believe there are basic things such as clean water and food that are needed for happiness to be achieved.
I used to believe coding and development is key to happiness. Then I felt burnt out months afterwards.
Now I'm going for those things with respect.

Nothing lasts, not even the human race.
This is deep, but I guess we'll never see the end.

Just Focus men!
Easier said than done, right?

Wrong - the universe is an experience of ourselves.
Can you give explain a little bit more what you're trying to say?

Did this happen recently?

Moving from bad to good? Yeah pretty recently, a couple of months.

With me it's not a gradual process. I sort of sat in a room and worked 20 hours a day for 8 years barely living, saved money, and within a couple of months turned my world upside down.

Check this out. I got a table that you can set the height. And none of that manual shit, I got a fucking button I can press and take the table from 68cm up to 113cm. That's some fucked up shit son  :D

Yeah I see your point, it's gonna get old, bla bla bla. But even if it gets old I'll still remember the old before the old, and I'll be aaight.

And if the memory of the old before the old stops doing it for me, then I just suck. Unless I get dementia or alcheimers or something. Well then I'll be justified in not remembering. But then I may not remember yesterday, so everything's always new, I guess. Anyway that's neither here nor there :p

I'm sorry you had to go thru this.

I hope it gets better, at least it should, right?

Do you have any close family, friends to talk about it?

It's better. I fixed it. It's over. And I have the numbers to keep it over. Maybe not forever, but for a good while. Maybe even forever if my crypto baggies decide to seriously, seriously inflate.

Ahh, talk. It's just words. It's somewhat like masturbation. It can feel good, but ultimately accomplishes nothing.
