Watermarking your instagram content to get traffic

If an instagram account reposts your watermarked content, which is high quality, how many people will go to the creator of that image - your account?
What is your guess?

Lets say the watermarked instagram repost on the repost account gets 10.000 likes, how many of those will look for your account, which created the post?
0,01? 0,001? Or even 0,00001?

if i am specifically searching for some hashtag or location and keep on hitting the similar kind posts from the same watermark
( The color post formats are easy to recognize and similar in every post ) i will search for that watermarked profile on 4th or 5th time most probably.

I can't say out of 1000 how many people search for that watermark but on average if a person sees the same format post 7-10 times he will search for that watermark for sure.

It's not 0 but low. I have barely noticed people following after the true owner of what they see on the feed.

It would be rather low, I would say a handful, maybe 10?

Would be really hard to track something like that...

this is what I usually do,since you can't post link on IG,
but with watermark you can't track the traffic

Ive a great idea with watermarks, in theory it would give me 2000 super enaging followers ... a day

You don’t get really much followers from that, I would suggest to invest your time into going viral + hashtags m.

If your post is high quality it might be worth it. How many will follow OP highly depends on the quality of the post. If the kind of post is something people are looking for and want to see more content like that, it's pretty likely that they will follow you.

And what @KJREDDY247@ said makes a lot of sense too. If your post is shown many times with your watermark on it, people may think it might be from a popular account or something and want to check it out.
