Hi, everyone. I'm new on this forum & before I begin let me first say that I have a good buyer/seller history on ebay for the few years that I've been a member on their site. Soo, ok I recently created 8 other accounts on ebay & used them to watch my listings on my main buyer/seller account. Sales have been a bit slow for me & I wanted to generate interest for my items. I had no idea it was against the rules. those accounts I mentioned have since been all banned (a couple days after creating them).
It's fine now but should I worry about my main account getting banned too? :(

if you need more views you would be better to ping the url they are on,also tweet them and like on facebook at the top right of every listing . you can also join auctiva and generate a token to give you a free scrolling gallery ,that will at least link all you items together . ebay will ban your main account if they think you are trying to cheat them or there customers.

It's not as serious as shill bidding. I never bid on my own listings, I just watched them, I guess I found out the hard way it's not allowed. I didn't register any addresses, banks, or PayPal on any of those accounts. Some of the email addresses were a bit similar to my main e-mail as well as the names. I assume the IP address I had when creating those accounts is different than the one I used to create main a few years ago. It was done on mobile & IP addresses change often on phones. Can they somehow eventually link the banned accounts to my main one? Should I just brace myself for a possible inevitable ban? :(

Did you create all those accounts from the same computer and did you log into your main account from the same computer? If so the banned accounts are linked to your main. Hard to tell if they will ban you if they haven't done already.
