Was told ahrefs is worthless.

ahrefs is really a good backlink checker, it gives you detailed report, it shows all the links you have built few days before...

Ahrefs is definitely the best. I believe Cognitive SEO uses multiple sources for the data however so I find them the most complete.

Even if the accuracy is not spot on, it is still something. Ahrefs is indeed one of the most powerful "free" tools out there.

Free? Im paying 80 bucks a month for it. U see shit as a free user.

In my opinion, I think it's the best tool for checking backlinks still working out there. But Is it worth the price though? Well, It depends how bad do you need the data it provides. There are other tools out there that can do a similar job for a fraction of the price. However if money is no object, then it sure is the one to go for.

What are the other 2 you're working with? I know Ahrefs is good for finding a bigger picture of backlinks (for link removal) but others like opensiteexplorer only show the decent-good backlinks.

Ahrefs.com is for sure best tool to check backlinks, they have faster crawler than any other tools like magesticseo.com etc

But I see people posting as if they have not read the whole thread. i do that sometimes.

Why is it that all your recent posts have something to do with ahrefs?

I find it hard a brand like that resorts to spamming forums.... but I am still confused by your recent post history and the fact your comments are not constructive, even maybe bot written.

I think you've been misinformed. Ahrefs is pretty awesome.

Ahrefs is a great tool. The issue people have with it (and many many other SEO tools) is that they all use different crawling techniques. No matter what tool you use, you will see discrepancies between the data due to the crawling methods. I feel Ahrefs is industry standard and no other tools offer as much insight.

It's worth it even without a paid plan... who tould you that?

Ahrefs + Open Site Explorer + Majestic SEO are a good trio.
