Was making 5k every month, but...

Im really sorry to hear this buddy.. If i may ask how many did you have to upload to get this kind of earnings ??

Anyway lesson learned i think you should create your own website and drive traffic from youtube to your website so you can control monetization methods..I hope you will get your account back..

I had about 200 videos in my main channel and 160 in my second channel.

Well my last hope is networks now, but i don't know witch one to choose.
 
Damn man a lot of work there..what about making a new account like few suggested..you can transfer all the traffic instantly since you have big community and i guess adsense team is not that fast in banning you..But of course first you wait for the 3rd to see how will your appeal go...

I dont think its worth appealing. They already reviewed my channels and demonetized them, so why would they monetize me again after reviewing them on 3th of january? That makes no sense. And it can take up to 1 month, so i will waste more than 1 month. Its better trying to join a network so atleast i make few bucks.

BUT you can twist your channels a little bit.

  1. Make a website
  2. Place ads there etc.
  3. Don't forget to collect their emails.
  4. Install remarketing pixel
  5. Try to monetize other ways (affiliate marketing to other documentaries or related stuff.)
  6. You can open e-commerce shop etc.
  7. And keep your YT account making you money.
  8. BTW create facebook group where people can chit chat about documentaries or share other ones. Because if your channel gets banned you can rebuild it easier.
If your documentaries have never aired on USA television you should be good for some time.

As long you can control your audience you can redirect them to other platform or other youtube channel if something happens.

Of course you can use it with google adsense, but as my experience says it's easier to earn money from merchandising product and not google adsense because of the bigger margins.
 
Can anyone recommend me good networks to join?

yes dude, you're right, but i think if i want make good money with affiliation i focalize to fistly make a good traffic and make my website popular too, (meahwhile i hope to make like 50-100$ montly with adsense) later, i add also some affiliate link with yt and website too and hope make good money with ads too and affiliation too
 
Oh my God, i just found 2 youtube channels who copied videos from my channel (exact order) and they are monetized.... i hate youtube... I really need to get my monetization back or i will go insane!!!!!!!
 
Can anyone call youtube, to get my channels monetized again? If they monetize me again i will pay you!
 
Why not try a new business model instead. Upload intros to each documentary and link the viewers to a blog where you upload the whole video. Place Adsense on there and split test.

This will take too much time. And i don't think this would work.
 
Start ecommerce on them! They arnt completely useless! You might make more from ecommerce than you did with adsense
 
you have the content, you have the know how, why not to get a virtual machine, open a new account and start to re-upload all videos?
do it twice, one VM will be attached to an account with new user info, there you will apply to google adsense and another VM you will use to upload to another channel (same content)
there you can apply to a network, this time do stuff better, brand your channels, add watermarks and intro to each video, this will make it harder of other to try to copy your work
forget about appeal, they will just give you a template answer... and there are no real ppl you can contact on that matter that can reverse the decision, they will never explain what the saw as a violation of TOS
just move on and rebuild channels, keep separate identities/accounts (use for that Virtual machines) so you will have multiple channels/income streams

If your videos were getting lots of view on each video then perhaps you'd be able to find some companies to sponsor your videos. I've seen this strategy being used by many YouTubers lately.
 
My videos Were from discovery and history channels. Even if i re-uploaded them to a new channel, youtube would not approve me for monetization after 10k views (manual review) because content is not mine. So re-uploading is useless.

I was getting around 1,5-2m views every month and my page rpm was about 2,5$ dollars per 1000 views.

I have knowledge what videos to upload to make money (i could upload them to my new channel and start making atleast 1000usd in few months). But youtube is not the same as it was few years ago... Manual channel review changes everything.

Too bad i started too late.

I don't know what to do now. Because that was my only one income.
