Was making 5k every month, but...

But youtube is not the same as it was few years ago... Manual channel review changes everything.

Too bad i started too late.

I don't know what to do now. Because that was my only one income.

This will take too much time. And i don't think this would work.

Hands down, your big problem is:
On the one hand you want to be successful but on the other hand you don't want to put in the efforts that are necessary to be successful. That's not how it works!

Some years ago I was is in the same situation as you! I've made up to 4k EUR per month by uploading documentaries. Then my channels got banned and I had to start from zero. At that time when you got a strike, Google deactivated the monetization option for your whole Adsense account. You couldn't use it anymore. You can believe me, nothing was really better than now. It's just differnt today.

Nevertheless I created more Google- and Adsense accounts, re-uploaded my videos ...but got banned again and again when it was running good.

I've done this when I was in school, so it doesn't hurt too much. But when I started studying, rent my first flat, had to pay my bills etc, I realized: You can't build my existence on a blackhat method!

My thoughts were: You can bring it to 3-5K EUR again but if you're getting banned, it'll take some months to build it up again. In this time you have to live off your savings. How do you ever want to make 10, 20 or 30K EUR per month? It won't happen. So I had to put in the efforts to build up a white hat business. But on the other hand: I needed the quick YouTube money to pay my bills. I had to make a decision...

I decided to build up my YouTube channels one last time. When it was running with 2K, I've taken this freedom to build up something legit / stable. Surely, I could bring it to 3, 4, 5K EUR again with YouTube, but I let the quick money on the table to build up something strong with which I'll make even more money in the long run.

You have to break out of this circle and think long term. Otherwise you get stuck to it and nothing will change.

I've started YouTube with some friends in 2011. Some of them have quitted completely with YouTube and the rest is still stuck in to it. I'm talking to them for years that they should stop with that and leave the quick money on the table but they don't listen. They're bring it to some K per month and getting banned again and again. I think it's the greed! If it's working good for them, there's no need to stop. So they continuing until they're getting banned again. Then they've the pressure to make the quick money and because they've nothing else, they continue with YouTube. Do you notice the circle / loop? You have to break out of this!

While I was growing my business to 5K, 10K, 15K EUR per month over the time, they got banned again and again and stucked to 2-3K/month (in average over the year).

Today I've the freedom to do whatever I want. I'm still doing YouTube (because it works) to make some K on the side but I don't care if I'll get banned. It's just for fun.

Conclusion:
You'll have all the time in the world to make the quick blackhat money. Nothing is running away! But first you have to build up something legit / stable. A business you can count on (and yes, it's not easy but it's necessary). You shouldn't try to build up your existence on a blackhat method. That's too risky.

Hope I could help you. Good luck

you're ABSOLUTELY right, is not time for blakchat methot because this fact on youtube doesn't work anymore...must think in whitethat method, and when you get real traffic too, you can using some black hat method to increase just a little earnings and soo be like a grey hat method but don't using anymore only black hat method or your account be banned very fast and if do that how you can pay our bills? damn :/

Maybe i should change title and thumbnail on every video so it would look less like duplicates? Because seen same videos on youtube with same thumbnails.

how old was your channel?
It was created in 2007. But started uploading 2 years ago.

What i should do ffs....I see some channels with same videos and they are monetized. It makes me depressed.

What is worse, that you can do nothing about it. They can't say why my channels got demonetized. Nobody responds in youtube products help forum and i can't contact youtube support because i am not youtube partner anymore and there is no option to contact them.

It it's not your content, then there's nothing you can do. Try switching things up and at lead adding some portion of commentary to your videos.

If all this is true as I understand it, what puzzles me is why you didn't just buy a new monetized youtube account already and put the videos on there.

Because they will eventually review that channel and turn monetization off again.

I am thinking of changing names of videos and thumbnails so it would look more original and don't look like duplicates. Would this help? Or youtube is not that stupid?

Hi bro.

Forget about this channel and make money on your subscribers! How many of them are you by the way? Now this is a story all over the world.

You do not have a good idea! (Cut the section of your statistics and see who your audience is: gender, age, region, etc. ... Based on the indicators and the data, you will be able to understand what to offer them. What difference does the channel have! Subscribers are people like me and you!) And we all buy something!

Mostly older men. 35-60 years old from USA. War veterans, historians, and so on.

Omg my views skyrocketed in a past few days!!!! And i make no money from it!!!! I want to cry!!!!

So my channel is still under review. And it has almost 100k subscribers. This is getting ridiculous. I get 5000 views every hour. Still have no idea how should i monetize my account.

I don't know how Youtube feels about links in descriptions nowadays, but why not just put a link in the description of each video, to a product related to the video. Like an affiliate link that goes to Amazon. Then again, Youtube may not like affiliate links anymore in descriptions.

Someone already said it, make your own website, redirect traffic from Youtube to your website, and monetize the website with ads and products and whatnot.

I have no idea what to promote. My videos are war documentaries from discovery channel. Its not fitness channel and its not beauty channel so its hard to find products to promote. Let say my video is : "Invasion to Normandy Documentary". So what the hell should i promote related to this video?

Promote books, or ebooks, related to that.

I'm sure there's a book on clickbank or amazon or somewhere related to the invasion of Normandy. Link to that on that particular documentary.

Or even better, make a website, write a little review about the book you want to sell, link to the book in your article, post the article on your website, and put a link on the youtube video that leads to your article on your website.

Also put adsense or some ads on your site, for added income.

None of this is 3 clicks easy money. Sorry, don't know how to make easy money :(
