Hi, I bought a $100 Bing ads coupon from bhw user "tonybao" and his skype is "tonybbhw". Its advertised in his signature. I tried to redeem the coupon on a new account with real card attached and real billing address and a few hours after redeeming the coupon my account was disabled. I contacted bing ads user support and they said they closed my account and didn't want to say why. This was obviously because of the coupon. I know this because I made another bing ads account and used a bing webmaster tools coupon and it is working fine. I sent many messages to tonybbhw on skype but I got no reply. I also sent him a PM on bhw on 14th May and he didn't reply because you can see his last activity which was today (16th may). I can provide proof if required. Thanks!

Bing has done such things several times. They close accounts because of unauthorised coupons which I guess you used in your case. I wouldn't say you were scammed. If you buy coupons from here or fiver there is always the chance that they are unauthorised. The only reliable source of coupons are hosting companies. But eventually you have to decide if you were scammed or not.

Definitely scammed IMHO. Users selling coupons should make sure that they are valid and working, it's like selling a car but it doesn't have an engine... If this tony dude doesn't give you your money back, report him and hopefully the mods ban his IP

I have done deals with TonyBoa.

You should note, that he does not have any affiliation with BING, how can you redeem a coupon code successfully, and when the account is banned, you blame the seller?

Did you check your IP?
Contact the customer support and explain stuffs to them. I have gone through this road before. Purchase some FB coupon code and the account was blocked.

Try again and see if every thing worked fine.
Have a nice day.

You weren't scammed dude, you redemd your coupon. You probably have opened to many accounts on single IP or didint remove cookies or x numbers of reasons.

it was my first usa account using a good vpn with a real card and real address.

Most Services like Bing/Google ect have VPN ips already blacklisted since people created accounts with it already before you.

Use Residential Proxies or Private Proxies for that and it shouldnt happen anymore.

Yes. You got scammed. Next time be cautious when dealing with other members.

If you enter the coupon code , if its say wrong code or already redeemed , then you are scammed!!!!

You didn't get scammed, you were sloppy somewhere in your sign up process. Banned domain, banned niche or heck Bing just didn't want you advertising your site. There could be a million reasons. Bing coupons work but you didn't do it right.

I tried to redeem it but it first came up with the error that it had already been redeemed on another account. So I went on live chat with a bing ads agent and I gave them the code and they credited my account with $100.

How good is your VPN really? You see that might have been the main reason why your account was closed.

Also, wouldn't it be better if the said accused, tonybao, would appear and state his side of the story. I'm not trying to be his lawyer or something, but his side would definitely help in clearing up this issue.
