[WARNING] Maxbounty - Dont send them black traffic

People are pretty selective about what they are aware of, in this thread. They don't want to keep in mind who's money MB is throwing around. It's not MB's money, it's the advertiser's money. Maybe MB should refer the OP to the advertiser(s), and let him make his case to them, directly.

So yea maxbounty got the complaint ONLY when I stopped the traffic and SURPRISINGLY terminated my account when I was not running anything.
Did you even read my reply? Of course not, those who chose to defraud others tend to ignore anything that doesn't support their weak argument. I'll repeat for your benefit: the fraudulent activities of publishers that run through our network put us at risk of both non-payment from our merchants, and legal action. Do you really think we would risk a multi-million dollar lawsuit simply to let you run a few extra days so we can pocket some extra money? If you (or anyone else on this thread) truly believes that, then don't bother reading anything else in my reply as you have no concept of logic or reason and anything I say really won't be understood.

And yeah Adam works at starbucks
Are you for real? While you may strive for credibility with your "networks that enforce their terms and conditions are scammers" argument, a comment like that one completely undermines anything you say and makes you look like a bit of an idiot.

And NO this is not fraud ( as compliance email said )
Did you have permission from Instagram to spam the comments of user pictures? No? Then you violated their terms and conditions. Did you have our permission to spam social networks? No? Then you violated our terms and conditions. Whether you admit it or not, this is fraudulent behaviour.

So your corroborating proof that we are scammers is a link to an affiliate who was terminated for offering incentives (the equivalent of content unlock traffic) on campaigns that don't accept this type of low quality traffic? That seems to prove my point, not yours.

cpa companies always want to make money and they wait for moments like this to milk the last penny from you without paying you anything.
If we treat affiliates so horribly and scam everyone, how is it possible that we've been voted BY AFFILIATES as one of the top networks in this business?
- Consistently ranked in top 20 of ALL of Revenue Performance's polls (currently sitting at #6): http://mthink.com/bluebook/top20/cpa
- Consistenly ranked in top 5 of ALL Performance Insider's polls (currently sitting at #2): http://performinsider.com/2012/09/official-top-10-cpa-affiliates-networks-for-summer-2012/

I'm sure you'll continue to get sympathy on this thread. After all, there are others here who have been terminated by us: this is Black Hat World after all. But receiving sympathy does not mean that you are right. You broke terms, you got caught, you got your account terminated.

But let me close with this. If you are so sure that comment spamming is fine with Instagram, I invite you to get written permission to comment spam from them and send it over to me along with the contact details of the person at Instagram who has given you permission so I can call them and have a chat to confirm this (e-mails are way too easy to spoof). If you get that to me, I will come back to this thread and personally apologize to you and admit I was wrong.

Asking for more traffic? Getting hit with compliance at the end of the month at payout? Yeah, I'm sure those two compliance and account manager teams don't work together.. Considering it's a relatively close time period as well. And on the 27th? Come on.. Too sketchy. Maybe your teams should work together, to prevent being seen as a company that steals and doesn't give back.. I mean regardless of the situation, you put two and two together and it will always look like he was getting begged for traffic right before the payout and ban. Can't honestly feel legit asking for that then being okay with banning them after your request was made within a recent time period. Did that guy ask to be banned? We'll if it's a violation of the TOS, yes absolutely. But you're wrong if you seriously think it's alright to play a needy game late in the month a few days before payout and straight up ban and ignore him after the fact.

Perhaps Steve, you could let us know if you will be paid in part for the traffic given by this affiliate? I think the answer to that will clear up things for the assembled mob that have flocked to this thread.

Perhaps he does not wish to answer this.

Don't deal with Max Bounty. I registered an account with them even did a phone interview with one of the affiliate manager. Then after a week my account got deleted. I did not even use it because I am still setting up the site where I will use the account.

Seems simple. Don't break ToS on either side and get paid. Being banned on payday has to be the worst though, sorry to hear about the loss either way OP

Since we're on topic of bashing maxbounty... A couple years ago they have been great to me... But recent tests on their cc re-bills DON'T TRACK /CONVERT !! I've sent expensive traffic to some offers with almost no conversions.

From what i read on IMing forums lately is that when you need to get a good shave, don't go to SuperCuts... Go to MaxBounty.

MaxSteve you would make one long defense about breaking the terms (in which I do see fair) but has not once given us some insight on whether your network was paid by the advertiser from that question Zen had previously asked you earlier. That is a problem and you cant dodge these bullets this time around. This thread is slowly hurting your reputation little do you know. Clear it up so this thread will just die already.

I need to chime in here, because I've been working with MaxBounty for a little while now.

MaxSteve is absolutely right here.

Everyone, please consider this: last year (or sometime in the last couple years) Ads4Dough was accused of false advertising regarding landing pages that looked like news sites in the weight loss niche and this year finally had to settle a serious lawsuit with some serious cash with the stipulation that they don't run weightloss offers anymore. I mean, that's some serious shit right there, and is the sort of example setting that advertisers and consumers are putting on affiliate networks, something that MaxBounty, even if were working on compliance in the past, has clearly taken into consideration in the present.

Breaking the terms of any contract is grounds for termination with ANY job you work, regardless of the type of contract, it's STILL a breach of contract. Sure, there are networks that are willing to bend the rules, and I wouldn't be surprised if even MaxBounty does from time to time. But, this day in age, as an affiliate you need to seriously think about the money you are making and where it comes from. There are advertisers behind the offers you are pushing, brands that are seeking recognition, and even if that isn't the case on a particular offer, at the very least there is the law which holds serious consequences in a wide variety of scenarios. And if the network gets in trouble, the advertiser gets in trouble, and then what? The affiliate just runs away with their riches? C'mon....

So yea... spam away if you must, but don't get upset when your account gets banned. You KNEW what was coming. Honestly, if you were smart, you would have either a) covered your tracks like a boss or b) not broken the rules like a scammer.

My only question right now is for Steve: has the advertiser paid? Cuz if they did, then you should at least pay this guy what he made MaxBounty, or at least a decent percentage.

If I sent some comments on instagram, it doesn't make me the worst guy in the world and makes you the best guy. I am not whining that I got banned, I know i broke maxbounty's TOS. I know what I did, I moved on. This thread is not about WHAT happened, it's about HOW it happened. I know how the cpa business is ran, you and me know you could handle it in other way.

Are you for real? While you may strive for credibility with your "networks that enforce their terms and conditions are scammers" argument, a comment like that one completely undermines anything you say and makes you look like a bit of an idiot.
I am not claiming that maxbounty are scammers, I even said that but did you read my reply? I guess not. I know Maxbounty is a good company with a good reputation, I would be unfair if I deny this, but the way I was banned is what I am talking about. If I had one problem with maxbounty it doesn't mean my problem makes maxbounty a bad company, that's lame.

Did you have permission from Instagram to spam the comments of user pictures? No? Then you violated their terms and conditions. Did you have our permission to spam social networks? No? Then you violated our terms and conditions. Whether you admit it or not, this is fraudulent behaviour.
Your answer is right for both of the questions, but still it is not fraud, you can call it spam. According to oxford dictionary: wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain

So your corroborating proof that we are scammers is a link to an affiliate who was terminated for offering incentives (the equivalent of content unlock traffic) on campaigns that don't accept this type of low quality traffic? That seems to prove my point, not yours.
Read it again, the whole point is the way maxbounty's AMs use before banning someone.

I don't need sympathy, I know what I did was wrong, I am not denying it. BUT the way I got banned is what I am talking about.
Warning other BHW members using Maxbounty when doing similar things is what I need. And I think I got it.

But let me close with this. I am pretty sure it is not, but when I push traffic for like 10 days, and get banned after I stop, this is where I feel suspicious of how things are ran. Again, I know what I did was wrong, but HOW I was banned is the problem here. I know for sure you at Maxbounty got complaints the first few days, but you choose to keep a blind eye until the right moment.
In this world we see facts, we analyze, we conclude. At the end of the day you will be here defending maxbounty and I will be doing what I do.

I respect you as a person, you are not my enemy, and I am not yours. Good luck with everything.

BHW members: I am not claiming maxbounty are scammers, but the way I was banned was sneaky. Think again about using Maxbounty unless your traffic is 100% whitehat.

Regards

@MaxSteve do you allow scammers to promote your offers?? Why momcpa.com and femaleaffiliates.com accounts are still working? I have contacted you guys via email but did not received any reply.

@Jason.. I can undestand what it feels like when you get ban on payment date. I dont care about money I just want everyone to know that maxbounty are encouraging scammers like momcpa.com to give them traffic and increase their sales.

I am sorry guys I am out of topic but this is relate to how maxbounty runs their business.

Around 1 month ago I had read a review on this forum about momcpa.com (femaleaffiliates.com) in which it was stated that a member of *** had and was earning $1800+ per month from this website. momcpa.com pays $6.45 for iphone email submits. I asked my wife to join this site and promote their product. I helped her in doing ppc with adcenter we made around $476 in a month by investing $250 but on 28th Sept. when I checked my wife account it was removed from their system now I cannot log in.

Now when I checked the entire details of their offers I am made to understand that they are promoting maxbounty offers.

This is offer url of mine : https://net.osiaffiliate.com/femaleaffiliates/redir.php?oid=1140_112 which is not working.

But when I changed the user id in url like : hhttps://net.osiaffiliate.com/femaleaffiliates/redir.php?oid=1139_112 its working and redirecting to maxbounty.

I want to ask you guys how do we stop this scammers, my user id is 1140 a month ago I guess they have members around 1500. even if they on average scams this 1500 members with $200 they are easily getting $300k a month.

I did contact maxbounty and inform them about this scam, also emailed to Adam no reply.

Very questionable that maxbounty let the OP due his thing all that time, then ban him on payout day, even more questionable that they have done it to others as well.

What this tells me is either maxbounty doesn't pay much attention to what their affiliate's do until its time to pay them, or they milk them.

Either way, I wont be ever using their services.

Sorry about your losses OP, its pretty strange said maxguy ignored the question regarding the money they made off you up until they banned you.

Here's another huge  said Max guy keeps referring to "blackhat ppl"
So obviously he knew the OP was from here all along, but he just "realized" it on payout day? nuff said.

Perhaps Steve, you could let us know if you will be paid in part for the traffic given by this affiliate? I think the answer to that will clear up things for the assembled mob that have flocked to this thread.

Why? The OP put Steve in a very sensitive position. MB makes it's income from the ADVERTISERS, not the affiliates. The advertiser is looking for results from his advertising dollars. So he spends all of this money with MB, and what does he get? At least from the OP, f%^k all nothing. And when the advertiser does an analysis, do you really think he's going to continue doing business with MB?
MB is trying to be in this business for the long term. The OP obviously can give a slug about that. He was hired by MB to direct traffic with the potential for the advertiser to sell his product. What did the OP do? From what I can get from this thread, nothing, garbage. No paying customers. Not what the advertiser hired MB to do.
The question whether MB got paid by the advertiser is totally irrelevant. MB has to deal with the fact that one of it's paying customers did not get what they contracted for. The OP is messing with MB's reputation with the advertisers, and, consequently, MB's ability to provide revenue to those that do abide by the T's and C's.
And to those that will never use MB because of this slight, or some other perceived slight to them:
Grow up. The big boys out there are the advertisers, they are the ones who make your income possible. You don't see a problem with screwing them and then complain when you get smacked in the face?
And the OP wants to get paid for providing garbage to MB?
He's lucky he does not get his ass sued for fraud.

I think you should have done some research or at least read some posts before posting your reply.

My traffic is real traffic, leads are real, there are conversions, and the advertiser makes money. Though the way I am promoting the traffic breaks TOS.

Heard similar stories on Maxbounty, tbh its not an area I will be investing in the whole CPA thing is not for me.
